Scientists, writers and philosophers
They are rare species, but hardly praise for their endeavors
They heralded a new horizon
Instigate us to be amused for their lovely echelon
They only having the capacity
To ignite human civilization with intriguing modality!
But, alas! We poor mass
We hardly realize their solemn task
Our expectation from them is high
Failing to attain according to our design, we sigh
Sheer disgrace we offer to reduce their morale
Ignoring our imposed hindrances, we take pride for our
lopsided terrain
They transcend out of their precious acumen and glow
To prove they are only axiom which we hysterically follow!
When we see a big banyan tree
Though few in numbers, but give haven to many plants and
birds with glee
Provide soothing to weary travelers
Centuries long it religiously maintaining its grandeur and
flavor
But for the sake of human civilization
We ruthlessly uproot it to expand our haven for human
habitation
Old is gold in our common term
Where we can afford trees for wood at random!
Obliterating the trace of myriad
Forgetting, it is the essential condition for human
existence
We fancied making bonsai in our terrace
Taking pride to keep its trace in our indigenous phrase!
It is the innovation we take pride of
Discarding old, we perhaps can only offer ignominy to gold
Forgetting its precious role
Beckoning our own jeopardy with hyperbole!
