Once I came across a fable where a girl with phenomenal
skill used to weave excusive silk, which drew envy from her own folks in the
village she lived and even when they doubted her exquisite quality, they only
loved to mention the name of the Goddess of yarn, only with a vile to belittle
her prodigy, whom the only reckon as supreme in weaving, unmatched to human
endeavor, which only evidently manifest their utmost efforts to belittle her
talent in any pretext.
But, the girl no longer desirous to buy that any
supernatural power could able to make better weaving than any human’s efficacy.
By noticing her emphatic expression, obviously according to fable, the Goddess
of weaving appeared before her in disguise, tried to pursue her, that human
have limitation and they are longer any match to any Goddess. But, the poor
girl, who was firm on her views and ability, challenged any Goddess, if at all
they exist to surpass her capacity. Then the Goddess accepted her challenge and
the little girl performed amazingly, ignoring God’s talent more superior than
any human beings diligence and sincere effort.
The concern Goddess became furious by noticing her
arrogance. Her resolute faith on her own skill and its dispensation made the
very God jealous. She cursed her that she should be paid for her arrogance and
pride and out of her superior status she made her compelled to arrest on her
own yarn and as such there is a myth that cobweb came into being, and we
ordinary mass feel sheer pity for the price the little girl paid, just to
substantiate that she lives not out of anybody’s mercy, but by her own diligence,
effort, by virtue of which she acquired such finesse.
But, I wonder, perhaps it is the common trend of human
beings, where when a person superior in position, feels his position is in threat out of the subordinate’s talent and skill, surely he or she will
express a vile intention to humiliate and forced her or him to quit the
organization out of the superior’s vile attitude and nefarious intention. Inevitably,
these superiors would sacrifice the diligent subordinate to retain themselves
in the corridor of power and eventually bring disrepute to his or her organization. The person, who is a rare prodigy, quite reasonably
ignore the superior’s whim and caprice, as they are dedicated to the
organization where they are rendering their services, not to any individual. Naturally, their pride is their only wealth which they cherish and that also they
acquired, not being out of someone’s mercy.
So, it is quite natural, that why they should endure superior’s whims
and caprice, who are practically responsible to create a toxic environment
where the human resources could thrive with vigor?
This alacrity of few vicious managers who reckon themselves
as mercenaries and whenever the conflict of interests emerge, they
unhesitatingly resort to unfair means only to retain themselves in the helm of
the organization. Not recognizing their limitations and their unwillingness to
give due weight-age to the deserving quality for their instant gain and fame,
perhaps only accelerate the decline of growth to the concern organization,
forcing the prospective human resources to quit the organization. I guess,
nobody loves to be humiliated and ignored.
I am in utter doubt, how these people are still exist who
precisely live out of their arrogance, moment they acquire the position of
height and that also out of their talent, not out of anybody’s mercy. Why these
managers are prevalent in the corporate world? Why we love to pay tribute to
someone’s talent which is purely ephemeral when are dwelling in a global village
where always there is an innovation and making a sea change to our lifestyle
too!
I knew numerous managers who are solely responsible for the
downfall of their organization. They simply ignored and declined to offer due
weight-age to the human resources he or she is dwelling with. I cannot
understand what is the harm of recognizing one’s prodigy? Is not it should be
treated as an organization;s imperative, which eventually yield rich dividend to the organization itself? I wonder, whether they are truly managers, or an element to cause
only massacre?
