LEAD OR LEECH, WHAT WE ARE FOCUSING FOR?

There are Plethora of suggestions, being made by Notable Thinkers and their advises are uniquely crafted, highlighting about the gravity of organizations to dispense their responsibilities with a vale based approach towards mankind to attain sustainability in the market. Focusing on only profit, devoid of values will not ensure them to thrive and retain their presence in the market in long run. They will surely be evaporated by the heat of pressure being emanated from the conscious society,which eventually discard all tricky ploy of the corporate. So the "Corporate Social Responsibility", has became a hot topic and agenda, which has drawn attention from all quarters and given due gravity to this topic for a considerable time and to promote impetus to this Issue, Innovation became another tool, citing its importance and relevance to bring the change in fashion of work and culture of the corporate. Commendable approach indeed!
But there is ample confusion about Innovation itself. The people responsible to initiate innovations has drawn plaudits across the world and has been epitomize in the arena of management as an icon,an axiom to encourage the domain of management to be followed. But how far it has impacted to enhance the quality of the people as a whole? Obviously their Innovation has changed the design of lifestyle of the people and the device they introduced has incorporated in the life style of the majority and became an integral part of them, resulting huge generation of revenue for the company he is attached with. Number of Apps being introduced and a continuous process of Innovation is discerning to us, inducing people to trivialize so many social activities and getting hooked with such Innovations and thus affecting the very social fabric and ethos. For instance,recently we observed an Apps which have the feature of recording the all conversations being made from an android phone. Now the fatal impact of such Apps, we have observed is that, it is causing negative impact on a couple's life, inducing them to suspect each other and destroy the harmonious bonding and trust between them. What an Innovation indeed!
So, the concept of Innovation, is to generate enormous revenue for an organization,ensuring to survive for that organization in this stiff modern competitive market. It is the market alone which dictate and dominate all Innovative measure, focusing only on profit, where Accountability is being largely ignored in the larger spectrum of betterment for mankind. Either you perform or perish, is the only motive of this corporate world, where Corporate Social Responsibility is just an eye wash. Only making donations to N.G.O.'s, and charitable organizations are the ambit for the Corporate to restrict with.
Marketing is nothing but creating an ambiance to sell the products. Consequently,we observe number of Innovative measures to impress people who are potentially buyers of the products. For instance, Tooth paste,which has become an integral part of our life in the due course of the progress of the human civilization and i wonder, how many companies are concern about public health, while marketing their products, which contains ingredients which are harmful to public health, precisely in the developing nations? Sheer compromise with public health being brazenly displayed while marketing their products. Innovation is basically nothing but initiating a mechanism which can generate revenues in quick succession. The consequences are fatal considering the scenario in public health. In construction industry, which generate huge profit, as well manufacturing industry too, where we have noticed how safety of the workers are being compromised. We can envisage the stinking of corruption how emanate from these industries. The profit seeking motives are stemming to engender corruption. The Insinuation regarding Innovation having only one direction, that is to grab market and seek profit only, which have no limit!
Now, in terms of leadership, considering the rapid changing world we are facing with,we have came across series of directives and advises regarding effective leadership and how they should adapt themselves with this world. They should be Innovative, keeping in view about the changes. They should be a good team man,capable to encourage the entire team to the Innovation oriented network. They should guide and protect all employee working under him, infuse them with a spirit of Innovation. But if any team member disagree to buy the view of his leader of Innovation, which lacks accountability towards the people as a whole, who are there customers and compromising with security and safety of the workers by arranging all approval by virtue of offering bribes with a motivation of seeking profit only, that employee at first should be chucked out from the team, citing that he is not the competent team man. So the leaders who heralded the notion of profit and instill his vision of profit brazenly attached with his strategy, induced all his team man to dance with his tune, considering all his employees are "Dunce", who are incapable to discriminate leadership with profit. What an "Irony" with Innovation! What leadership we are producing,despite so many discourses and empirical measures we adopted in the domain of management?
