Power, the only thing people hanker for. People love to stay in the corridor of power. Equally the exerts power on people, who are the prime source of power. The power derives from people. They are the only driving force of world history. But unfortunately whoever captivate power, tend to get themselves isolated from their source of power, undermining them at the slightest pretext, subjected them to severe humiliation and throttle them by adopting various means, only just paving the way for their own grave. We can yet recall the famous play of William Shakespeare,"Julius Ceasure", where Ceasure claims after drifting from installing a republican government and emerged as a tyrant one by making a rhetoric comment,"I am the pole star". Thus evidently reflects, how makes people blind.
Now the question is how power make blind. Power inevitably exerts pressure on people from where it derives pressure. In Physics, pressure is inversely proportionate with volume. Increasing of pressure will decrease the volume. For example, if we exerts pressure on a balloon, it will inflated, looking delightful to notice. But in reality does the volume of Balloon increase. What we apparently notice, is nothing but a visual treat, but in reality, the law pf physics gives us the reality just opposite to what we notice. Sheer camouflage and deceiving visibility of us. And in a very mild stroke, even with a small pin, the inflated display of a balloon will transform in to a small mass of , sheer insignificant and a detestable element too. Power corrupts and it resort to an individual, initially trying with all its effort to treat him as a messiah, inducing an hallucination of people mind that this individual have the potential to emancipate people from all odds, initiating a regime of holistic milieu. Power requires a central character, a nucleus to concentrated all its intensity, making a tool to deceive people and serve the interest of few.Thus power engendered conflict of interests too Thus power ruined one as well a state of sustainable status,eliminating from inclusiveness, and make and exclusive tool for minority, causing detriment to majority, major poor people, who are forced to resort to the brink of despondence.
Whether a C.E.O., Politicians, Statesman, all are falling in to the pernicious design of power and thus proving how detrimental power is. There was a concept of benevolent despotism. However, in length it might have proved, in a stray incidents, some palliative measures it had adopted for the sake of mankind, but pretty ephemeral its impact was. Finally, it is the people, who shown the door of all arrogant leaders, and concluded their tenure, forced them to seek recluse and became oblivious to the pages of world history.
Now the emerging power of corporate world equally reflects their attitudes and their tricky devise to use people as their bait to retain in the corridor of power, influencing the all policies related to the world politics, right from pollution to terrorism, thus suppressing the voices of people. Their hegemony in the corporate ladder and adopting unfair means and deceiving people with their defective device installing in automobile regarding emission issue, forcing the C.E.O. of a multinational to quit from his post is a discerning issue, a vivid picture of their nefarious exercise of power ultimately hoodwinking people and seeking profits. If you ignore people, who are the source of your profits and your brand value, it is necessarily needed from them to respect people. But the insanely focusing on profit alone, ignoring people and their security are the reason for becoming infamous in the domain of people. No need to judge by few that people are insignificant and they could be fooled and cheated easily. It is the people alone who can give you enough justice, making you almost obliterate from the pages of world history. But unfortunately it is power which make our vision blurred, and a sense of megalomania develop on us that we are supreme, as a polestar, being considered by Julius Ceaser in Shakespeare's play, proving how Shakespeare is still relevant.
On contrary, if people hold the power, it will teach lessons, how this psychopaths could be treated harshly. How rigidly they discard these power crazy people. And if larger section of people are satiated, then how sustainable growth could be possible and brand value existed too for a long time as long as they enjoy trust of the people. Instead of being corrupt, the power can become a boon for majority, not just a balloon filled with gas, but an epitome with pride for mass, which cannot be easily removed from the heart of the mass, where love plays the chemistry for bonding. Finally, we can conclude power can make you blind, but power can move and blow your mind. So don't try to be enslaved by power, they it will you decimate you, as on contrary it will equally exert pressure on you.
